 Electronic Reporting

Download (save) the surveyor software to a folder on your hard drive by clicking Download Software (GIDS Surveyor 1.0.86).

 User Notes:

  • System Requirements and Installation instructions

  • Recommended approach to electronic reporting

  • Error message: "Cannot connect to the Internet"
    Close the Surveyor software. Right Click on the following file surveyor_urlconf.xml and Save it to C:\Program Files\Census\Surveyor 2007. Open Surveyor software, and download your survey.

  • Have your user ID (UID) and password (PW) handy. The password is case sensitive. These can be found in the label of your report form. They are also shown in the mailing label of letters sent to multi-establishment companies.

  • Electronic Reporting is not available for classfication forms.
