Welcome to the Business and Professional Classification Survey (SQ-Class) home page. The Business and Professional Classification Survey identifies and classifies businesses to update the samples for current business surveys and to assist in ensuring the proper five-year Economic Census form is mailed to those businesses. The United States Code, Title 13, authorizes this survey and provides for mandatory responses. This site is designed to help businesses complete their form. It describes highlights, clarifies coverage and content, facilitates computer uses, and identifies other sources of assistance. Please contact staff if you have any questions.
