The Classification forms are part of the 2012 Economic Census and are used to determine a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for establishments where the Census Bureau does not have a complete NAICS code. The United States Code, Title 13, authorizes this report and provides for mandatory responses. This site is designed to help businesses complete the Classification Forms. It describes highlights, clarifies coverage and content, and identifies other sources of assistance. Please contact staff if you have any questions.
